This is probably the most ambitious skin I've made that's not for EF, and because of that, I'm not actually sure how well it works in practise.

I had my eye on that pattern ever since I made it using _stefan's palette about a month before I finally settled on a design concept, and sketched a few different ideas before actually generating enough inspiration+energy to get on with it. Even then, the final product wasn't that similar to any of the sketches and I had to improvise a lot to make my design fit around InvisionFree.

Again, I didn't want to go trawling the net for images so stuck with a simple banner (which, I think I'm getting fairly good at, if I do say so myself, lol). There's not much point in making banners for freebie skins, anyway, though, as most sites seem to go straight to the graphics request forums to get a custom made anyway.

I love this skin. I think it's fairly different, in the way I've got rid of a lot of the borders around the forum index, used serif font and added the overlay footer (which I can see could get annoying, oops), and I love that palette. I don't like the half-gradient in the forum subtitles (Important Topics, Forum Topics, etc) but at the same time, it just gives it that bit of... something different. So, I dunno. Still not sure it's really a practical skin, though.
